The sales pitch

Life can put you in the most interesting of situations. I rather enjoyed the situation I was in today. I had to sell IIM Bangalore to two IIM Calcutta educated evaluators, and they pushed me in a corner and made me say things i would never have in such a situation :)

I couldn't stop smiling all through the Q&A. I hope that is taken as a sign of confidence when I get my grade, but boy was it fun! I had to debate the selection procedures, academic churn and industry interface with these old timers, and I think I held my ground for most part. There are a few courses in the IIM's that take the cake by being the most enjoyable and also giving you the necessary soft skills for any situation. Managerial Communication has surely been one. 

I was also privileged to see some amazing presentations made by people, and creativity at its very best! People actually made flawless video advertisements and posters for a single grade course, and my gawd how much fight people can put in still amazes me. 

Someday hopefully I will find enough time to write about my experiences at IIM in detail. Right now its hard to get off the roller-coaster, and I really am enjoying some of the loops!
