just to take up the last line of the post..on crossing the wagah...ur post reminded me of the time i did it..and i m glad v didnt get the bus tickets bcoz of which we had to cross the border on foot, which prolonged the transition from one country to another. and quite thankfully so. it is one of the most remarkable and surreal experiences of my life..do do it if u ever get a chance.
